Mid week Bible Study will be starting an Advent Study by Rachel Billups: An Unlikely Event..Expect the unexpected this Christmas.
This four-week Advent study focuses on the experiences of four sets of often overlooked characters in the Nativity story. During this Advent season, Rachel Billups guides readers through the themes of hope, love, joy, and peace by sharing the stories of Elizabeth and Zechariah, Herod, the Magi, and the shepherds. Each set of unexpected characters has something to teach about living faithfully on the journey to Christmas. Join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in the “Pink Room” next to Pastor’s office.
Thursday, November 21sth our KEYS Group will gather for Chicken Pot Pie and Spinners in the pink room at 11:30 a.m.
Friday, November 29th……lunch with Marolyn O’Neil at Midlands @ 11:30 a.m. Our friend will be in town for a short time only……we’ll catch up before she returns south for the winter!
